fmsbackend − uds controlled fms sound engine

SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION

fmsbackend enables access to the F Modular
Synthesizer through uds communication.
fmsbackend acts as a uds client. It will
communicate with a uds server via the fms-protocol as
documented in the FROCOR project documentation or in the fms
source directory in the file PROTOCOL. You can for
instance connect fmsbackend to a FROCOR server via
fmsconverter. Both programs can be found in FROCOR
distributions.
If used with a generic uds client such as genuds
(from FROCOR) you can use fmsbackend to do on-the-fly
playing and changing of fms sound structures.

OPTIONS
|
Connects to specified uds socket. Default is
/tmp/fms-uds.
